Coronavirus Update March 25, 2020: Gov. Polis issues stay at home order

Current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Situation - UCCS Update #13 (6 p.m. March 25, 2020)

A Stay at Home Order, issued by Governor Jared Polis, will go into effect for the State of Colorado at 6 a.m. March 26, and will remain in effect until April 11, 2020.

UCCS is already operating within the spirit of the order, with remote learning and working operations underway. However, the university will further limit access to buildings for faculty and staff while the order is in effect. Students approved to remain in the residence halls will be able to stay.

Essential personnel will continue to report to work. Designated critical personnel, including authorized research personnel, will be allowed to access buildings during normal working hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). UCCS Police will only allow access during those hours, except in an emergency. Once the campus has a chance to review the declaration and take direction from the City of Colorado Springs, this instruction may be revised.

Remote learning and working will continue during the Stay at Home Order.  For additional updates and resources, visit covid19.uccs.edu
